I like bone in with any kind of meat or fowl, because you get the additional natural flavors from the marrow and skin. It may take a teeny touch longer to cook, but you'll always prefer the results. Here's how I do them, and the same would hold true for all chicken parts, as well as whole. Delish!
This one dish casserole was one of my favoritest dishes all the while growing up, and remains a staple to this day. There are a number of family variations, some using peas or carrots, others using pork, or lamb, or combinations, It is, quite simply, elegant in its own way, but just some wicked tasty!
Ask anyone what first comes to mind when you say barbecue, and nine times outta ten, the answer will be brisket. And don't get me wrong, I know ribs and chicken are wicked important, too, but brisket just RULES, full stop!
